Equipped with a robust metal housing, color-coded cable grommets as accessories (grey included) and a secure connection through three robust solder terminals, this connector is ideal for the secure connection of audio components.
The unique design with triple-positioned collets prevents the cable from twisting or loosening and protects the cable sheath at the same time. Adaptation to different cable diameters is simple: depending on the cable diameter, the clamping ring on the connector housing can be removed to allow an outer diameter of 3.
3 to 4.8 mm. For standard plugs with an outer diameter of 5.0 to 6.5 mm, the clamping ring remains in place. For cable diameters of 6.5 to 7.0 mm, the predetermined breaking point on the clamping ring can be removed.
This connector meets the highest requirements for insulation, material quality and temperature resistance. With an operating temperature of -30° to +80° Celsius, an insulation resistance of over 10 GΩ and a contact resistance of ≤ 3 mΩ, it is ideally suited for demanding environments.
The use of high-performance plastics and phosphor bronze in the construction as well as waterproof silicone components ensure a long service life and reliability.
