The BCM 705 is a dynamic studio microphone with a hypercardioid directional characteristic. It is especially designed for speech reproduction at close range and thus features an integrated pop screen. The frequency response is tailored to compensate bass boost due to the proximity effect. The headgrille and pop screen can be removed without the use of tools, permitting easy cleaning or replacement. The BCM 705 is designed so that it can be suspended from most standard microphone arms.
